JoanneSTANSFIELDJOANNE Stansfield, of Holcombe Road, Helmshore, died suddenly at home on Thursday, August 22, aged 65. Joanne was born in Haslingden and lived in life both there and in Helmshore. For over 40 years she was a teacher throughout the Rossendale Valley. In her spare time she enjoyed baking, walking and reading. A much-loved mum, grandma and sister, she leaves behind children Ben and Rebecca and grandson Robbie; and two brothers, Richard and his wife Janet, and Robin and his wife Yvonne. The funeral was held on Tuesday, September 10, at St Thomas, Musbury led by Fr David Stephenson, followed by cremation at Accrington Crematorium. Donations in memory of Joanne, if desired, will go to Tor View School c/o funeral director Paul Roberts for Johnson, Durning and Woods Funeral Service, Haslingden.
